Videogame History
Straight Ballin': Game Design Document. Created: December 1, 2002

To prove that I have the ability and imagination to develop an entirely new game I created an original Game Design Document. This document includes a control scheme, animation, characters, levels, game play, sound and a variety of other interactive elements. I plan on bringing this document with me if I get called in to an interview. |

"I think it's hot. I'm just not a game player like that so my analysis may be off, but from what you sent, I likes."

This document is filled with many new and fresh directions for the basketball genre. The subject matter itself crosses boundaries and appeals to a variety of videogamers. Very few people outside of the industry have read the document in its entirety, those that have read it praise the content and quality of the ideas.

If hired I know my chances of running a team right away are slim to none. I understand that I have to work my way through the ranks and gain actual experience before I become a lead artist, lead designer or project lead. You should understand that I have the ability to be entry-level artist, writer or designer for your company. Furthermore I possess the understanding of games that will eventually make me a very good game designer. |
